The Carrboro Songwriters Festival returns October 16–18, 2026: three days of Nashville-style songwriter rounds, 27 songwriters a day, 12–8 PM daily, at Speakeasy Theatre (100 E Main St), Steel String Brewery (106A S Greensboro St) and more in downtown Carrboro. FREE.
Don't miss Tall Tales & Cheap Ales, a free songwriters panel on Saturday, October 17 at 2 PM at Speakeasy Theatre: five highly suspicious local songwriters (Ted Johnson, The King Teen, Kate Bopp, John Pardoe & Dr. Scott) and one remarkable moderator, Bridget Dean.
