Greek Meze is a very popular style of having several small plate courses, with each plate becoming more elaborate, and delicious. Many begin with marinated olives, bread and spreads continuing on with vegetables, and finishing with meats. Think of it as the equivalent to Spanish tapas. Mezze meals often take 1-2 hours from start to finish and dishes vary depending on the region of Greece or Middle East. In this class Stefanie will share with you her all time favorite Mezze plates she has had from some of her favorite meals back home in Cyprus.


Roasted red pepper and feta dip (htipiti) with homemade pita chips
Saganaki – traditional fried/flambéd Greek cheese
Fried zucchini with eggs
Spanakopita (spinach and feta pies made with phyllo sheets)
Keftedes (Greek meatballs)  and tzatziki
Marinated lamb skewers with lemon dill sauce
