Historical Walking Tour of Pittsboro: Education

Celebrate our country’s semi-quincentennial year by joining the Chatham County Historical Association’s monthly Walking Tour of Pittsboro.  Just in time to get ready for back-to-school, our focus for August will be the history of education throughout Chatham County’s past.  Too hot for a walking tour?  No worries.  This month only, the tour will take place at the George Moses Horton Middle School, where participants will take a short walk around the Horton campus and then enjoy a virtual tour tracing the history of education in Chatham County in the cool comfort of the Horton multipurpose room.
