Description
The GMH Color Run & Walk is a fun, inclusive community activity where participants complete laps around the school at their own pace, getting dusted with colored corn starch at color stations. After one, three and five laps participants may enter into raffles for student- or adult-oriented prizes. The starting line is by the Boys & Girls Club building. Just above it is our “midway”--usually the bus lot–featuring an inflatable and the sounds of DJ Jorge Blanco.
Our goal as the George Moses Horton PTSA is to raise $10,000 which, among other things, will fund water filtration stations, playground updates, teacher appreciation and classroom supplies.
