Addressing Team Stress and Burnout

Addressing Team Stress and Burnout

Friday, August 21, 2026 (11:00 AM - 1:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

We're all carrying more stress than usual right now, and most wellness programs miss the mark. They put the whole job of coping on the individual. What gets left out is that burnout comes in levels, and what works at one level does nothing at another.

This workshop helps you tell the difference between everyday stress, which people can usually manage with their own tools, and the deeper kind that's tied to how the business runs, where personal coping only goes so far. You'll get a simple way to gauge where someone actually is, from stressed but still functioning, to struggling, to no longer able to do the job. And you'll learn to read how much of what's going on sits with the person and how much sits at other levels, the team, the workload, the way the work is set up, so you know what someone can work on themselves and what genuinely needs support or change around them. You'll also look at what keeps people stuck in the same burnout cycle, including the strengths that can quietly work against you and the old habits and ways of working that no longer pay off.

You'll leave with quick, practical ways to read what's going on with yourself and the people you manage, and how to make the case for sustainable work instead of just treating the symptoms.

This event is Free for Chamber Members | $20 for Non Members

Lunch included, along with time to connect with fellow business leaders navigating the same challenges and opportunities.
