Please join the Chatham Chamber Board of Directors, Membership Committee, Ambassadors, and community partners on Friday, August 7, at 3:30 p.m. as we celebrate the opening of Sippers Café & Bakery in the Alpha Center with a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony. Together, we’ll recognize the hard work and vision behind this welcoming, community-centered local business ahead of its official Grand Opening on Saturday.

Sippers Café & Bakery is cultivating a welcoming space where friends and families can gather over delicious coffee, expertly crafted espresso drinks, and delectable desserts.

The café also creates meaningful employment opportunities for transition-aged youth, ages 15–23, who face challenges related to mental illness, physical or intellectual disabilities, or socioeconomic hardship. In a supportive, flexible, and therapeutic work environment, team members can develop valuable social and occupational skills while building confidence and greater independence.

Your presence helps make this milestone memorable and demonstrates the strength of a community that supports its local businesses. We encourage you to arrive a few minutes early, purchase a coffee or treat, and share photos from the celebration on your personal or business social media pages.
